Our term so far….
Sunday 29th April will mark the 1 year anniversary of this amazing dance school!
LL Dance has come so far and I know this is just the beginning! The competition team yet again performed fantastically, bringing home 1st, 2nd and 3rd place medals for the LL Dance team. The team’s next competition is in May and June…we wish you lots of luck!!
Our little ‘Dinky Divas’ street team and our wonderful ‘Street Teams’ will be performing in May as well and we are very excited to see you shine on the stage! Good Luck to you all, just go out and enjoy every minute.
The Musical Theatre classes are working very hard each week for their show ‘HAIRSPRAY’ (Sunday May 13th at 12.30pm). Keep up the fabulous work guys, and we can’t wait to see you perform it!

Thursday 3rd May 2018 from 5-8pm (this number will be the opening of act 2). Class is £10.00 and you will be in another show number! Ages 13+

The timetable is working well at the moment, but I feel I may amend one or two classes for next term. Keep an eye on our website and social media, as well as the front desk for hard copies!
We return on the Tuesday 5th June in preparation for our show in July. We are now starting to rehearse for our show, so please try to attend as many of your classes as possible.
‘New Beginnings’ will be on Sunday,
July 15th @ The Thameside Theatre, Grays, Essex.
There will be two shows, a matinee performance at 2pm and an evening performance at 7pm. Tickets are £15.00 each and they go on sale on Saturday 28th April. It is first come, first serve.
* Please note that our pre primary classes will only be performing in the matinee show. (Dress/Tech rehearsal at the theatre will be on the evening of the 11th July from 4pm). Aftershow party and awards presentation evening will be on the 19th July. Family and friends are welcome!

Welcome New Students!
A WARM WELCOME to all the parents and children that have joined us this month… It is wonderful seeing the school growing so quickly! If you know anyone that has a child who may like to try some classes for FREE please ask them to get in touch!!
Costumes:
Many of you have now received your costume deposit forms and we are beginning to buy costumes for your show numbers. Please can I ask you to pay the deposits as soon as possible, so we can get
more!
Please note: These costumes will be yours to keep!
Extra rehearsals:
Running up to the show we will need to arrange some extra rehearsals for certain show numbers. These will be in the evening. Guest choreographer Adrian Gas, who is currently working with ‘Take That’, numerous fashion shows, and commercials abroad, will be in on Thursday 3rd May from 5-8pm. This class will be £10.00 and will require an additional costume. This number is for those that are 12 years and up. If you would like to do this, then please speak to me and I will add you to the list.
Uniform:
We now have order forms for you to buy uniform. These can be found at the front desk. I understand some people would like to get their names on their existing t-shirts. This can also be done via the order forms. Leotards can be bought or ordered directly from the front desk. If you require additional uniform, such as tights or shoes, please just let me know and I can either order them or provide details for
suppliers.
Ballet classes:
I’ll be looking around at the uniform worn in all the classes soon, particularly in ballet. I would like to see everyone, by the end of this term, wearing leotards and correct footwear in their ballet lessons. This is good preparation for the show. Hair needs to be up and off your face.
Fees:
Invoices have now been distributed for next term and I appreciate your prompt payment.

Descendants 2 Summer Workshop
LL Dance will be doing their first summer workshop this July from the 23rd – 27th July, and we would love to fill ALL the spaces! We now only have two spaces available! It will be at St. John’s the Divine,
Outwood Common.
We are offering two options:
£80.00 – 10am-4pm on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday £120.00 – same as above, but also includes the Thursday which involves a trip to London to see a matinee performance of ‘Aladdin’. For more information, please ask!
